Drop back in, so you can get more out.
Psychedelic integration is a guided process to turn what surfaced in an experience into real change. Yet integration isn’t just for tripping.
With Sovereign States, we tap back into the unconscious to make sense of psychedelic experiences, meditation insights, dream states or IFS/parts work. You leave with understanding and tools you can use.
Integration Sessions for Psychedelics & Beyond
WHY SCHEDULE AN INTEGRATION
SESSION?Go back into the unconscious to help move your life forward.
Psychedelic trips, dreams, meditation, and IFS-style therapy can all surface unconscious material. All can summon insight flashes that often fade fast or leave us uneasy if they’re abstract or hard to understand.
Inviting the unconscious back into the integration process can make it take it further.
Here's why integration sessions matter and how we do it differently:
Return to the feeling - Unlike just talking or journaling, we drop back in, revisiting trigger or peak moments. Ambiguity can become more clear. Magic resparks. You continue and find closure in the journey you started.
Turn insights into practical action - Like standard Psychedelic integration, we’ll pinpoint tools and habits to help carry changes forward. But the Sovereign States process hones in on sticky images, metaphors or core phrases you want to use.
Process difficult material - Confronting fear, challenging messages, or ego dissolution during a trip can leave you feeling overwhelmed or upset. Energy and somatic work give you more ways to work through it.
Partnership - Someone is inside the meaning-making process with you, noticing imagery, language, contradictions and threads that can be hard see on our own.
Discernment - Examine what surfaced, what resonates and what earns attention in your life.

HOW IT WORKSIntention—We discuss the experience and identify what needs to be relaxed, amplified or understood.
Revival— We drop back into parts of the experience through relaxation and visualization.
Sense Making—Inside and outside the unconscious state, we explore key themes, discern what matters, and translate it into something useful and enduring.

Psychedelic trips are the obvious answer. But integration can be useful after an intense dream, spiritual or otherworldly experience, or another altered or deeply felt state. You can integrate a memory or a great vacation. Really, any singular experience that left you with something you want to better understand, revisit or put to use.
It can also be a way to more deeply explore the elements of self from IFS or parts-work sessions. You can then bring those insights to your therapist.
-
Continuing the process should be immersive. After your session, you’ll receive detailed notes about key insights, themes and actions to use moving forward.
This recap can be delivered via email or audio recording.

To get the most out of each session:
Be sure you have returned to baseline before the session. Do not be under the direct influence of drugs or alcohol.
Bring any notes, memories, fragments or images if you have them.
You do not need to have “figured out” the experience first.
Once we are in session:
Find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted
Test your microphone and speakers before logging on
You may lie down or sit up, but please position your phone or laptop so I can see your face and hands, and hear you.
Relax and have fun. These experiences are meant to be safe, transcendent and enjoyable.
If at any time you want to stop, just say so. You can open your eyes, get up or do what you need. This is your experience.
